I'm currently using two PC's in my house to test my work in Internet Explorer 6 and 7. I searched the web and found with a little hacking that you could install and run both versions on the same machine - one of them as standalone. However this only worked for some time before Microsoft stopped it with an IE7 security update.
I then came across this solution which is very easy. Its a program called MultipleIEs. It installs Internet Explorer versions 3, 4.0.1, 5.0.1, 5.5 and 6 onto your PC and enables you to run them simultaneously.
It does'nt effect your installation of IE7 either and you will be fully equipped with the tools and necessary debug scripts and CSS. There are some minor issues tho, so you should be aware of cookies not working in the older versions.
I'm not sure if it will install and run Windows Vista but you can give it a try... Check it out here

Like this entire website, this blog was all handed coded by me using OOPHP. I did however look into using the powerful Wordpress CMS but since I'm a programmer, I decided to develop my own. There was nothing wrong with the Wordpress tool but it just didnt tickle my fancy to be honest! If your interested in learning more please drop me a line.
