DocSyncer - sync with your Google Docs account

Filed under Tools on January 26, 2008 at 4:26 am.

DocSyncer makes it easier for you to make the documents on your computer's hard drive portable.

Once you have downloaded their light bit of software, the files on your computer are automatically loaded into DocSyncer.

This includes such documents as the ones from Microsoft Office’s Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Once your files are uploaded, they are automatically kept in sync with your Google Docs account.

This is helpful as a secure backup for your documents and as a way to make all of your work available to you from any computer. DocSyncer works in the background, automatically updating your documents as you make changes.

It also keeps track of previous versions of those documents in case you don't like the new changes.

From DocSyncer you can choose to open your file via Google Docs, open it locally, email it, or download the file to your current computer.

It's like a safety net for your documents that makes them easier to access and keep track of more than ever before.

Like this entire website, this blog was all handed coded by me using OOPHP. I did however look into using the powerful Wordpress CMS but since I'm a programmer, I decided to develop my own. There was nothing wrong with the Wordpress tool but it just didnt tickle my fancy to be honest! If your interested in learning more please drop me a line.
