On Friday the 15th of August I went to the Aberdeen "Web Types" meetup.
Good times were had by everyone who attended. I spoke to some great people who share the same skillset including and in no particular order Mark and Mike, the boys from East Coast Interactive, Ryan and Scott from Fifth Ring and Euan who I have already forgotten where you worked. Finally James over at RGU. Sorry for those that I have missed, remembering names isn't a strong point so drop me a line or send me a tweet!
All in all I had a fantastic time meeting everyone and can't wait to do it again!

Yes thats right - you can now track all my blog entries using Ran Aroussi's PHP trackback class that I have intergrated into my blog. It is a simple, portable PHP class with full TrackBack capabilites - Thanks Ran !
Like this entire website, this blog was all handed coded by me using OOPHP. I did however look into using the powerful Wordpress CMS but since I'm a programmer, I decided to develop my own. There was nothing wrong with the Wordpress tool but it just didnt tickle my fancy to be honest! If your interested in learning more please drop me a line.

yep, i thought it went really well even though i had to slink off at 8pm! I know there will be others at the next one so you need to start remembering peoples names ok ;)
