Quest Project Personnel is a sister company of Pegasus International UK Ltd. I was asked to develop their website after the UK side of the company was setup. The logos and textual content was all provided to me. I was given full control of the project management, design and development of the project.

The website contains a custom built CMS to allow easy management of the site for the users. The Quest employees update the content and manage job postings daily. The CMS is also integrated into the internal recruitment software installed by Bond Adapt. Using XML-RPC protocols data is sent and received over an HTTP connection. The XML-RPC protocol also allows the Web Server Database and the Bond Adapt Database to be synchronized so both datacenters are kept up to date.

The website was kept inline with the W3C HTML and CSS web standards. Tables are only used for form layouts. The Quest website is very SEO friendly and ranks very well for its chosen keywords in the highly competitive recruitment market. All pages have clean URLs. I used .htaccess for rewriting all requests. All pages are optimised to the maximum without spamming or breaking search engine guidelines.

The website gets 350-450 unique visitors per week with Google and other recruitment agencies such as Oil Careers their highest referrals. Both the business and profit has been positively affected since the website went live.
